O’Callaghan Collection – SEAI EXEED Grant Support

The O’Callaghan Collection is one of the leading privately-owned hotel groups in Ireland consisting of the Alex, the Davenport, the Mont Clare and the Stephen’s Green Hotels. The group’s commitment to energy savings and carbon reduction has been steadfast throughout the years and continues to the present day.

Energy & Technical Services Ireland were appointed by the O’Callaghan Collection to help secure grant funding through the SEAI EXEED programme. Whilst there was a number of energy saving opportunities available across their portfolio of sites, additional capital was required to undertake the proposed works.

Achievements

Working collaboratively with the client, our consultants collated the necessary evidence and documentation required to include within the application. After approval was received from the SEAI to proceed to Stage 1, our consultants helped develop a Letter of Offer comprising of a Project Execution Plan, Energy Balance Study and Energy Saving Registers. Once these were developed sufficiently to justify an investment decision, the Stage 2 grant application was submitted.

The next phase of works includes the delivery and implementation of the proposed energy savings initiatives. M&V reporting will also be deployed throughout to ensure the projected savings are achieved.

”Energy & Technical Services Ireland have demonstrated a level of energy expertise, professionalism and customer support that has made the whole process quite straightforward and ultimately a success. We look forward to continuing our relationship with ETS Ireland and further reducing our carbon footprint for the long term.“
